It's 05:30 on a misty October morning. Find every species on the reserve list. Each morning ends at 10:30, then you're back at first light the next day.
Choose where to go on the loop. Each stop has its own birds, and some are only active at certain times.
Drag to scan the environment. Tap a bird to raise your binoculars, then name it before it flies. Get ten right in a row and you'll be in the zone.
Tap a ♪ note to listen; heard birds count too.
Keep an eye on your patience, bladder, thirst and Zyn cravings. Your backpack helps. And watch out for bogeys: not everything dark in a tree is a bird. Call one correctly and earn R5 to spend at the car park kiosk.
Jessie is along for the walk. Pat her when your patience runs low and watch where she points, but beware: sometimes she charges in and flushes a bird before you see it.
Best with headphones: calls come from the side they're on.
